The first dining experience here was wonderful because of the very friendly and helpful service crew who are all very willing to make their recommendations! When food were served and explained, we were pleasantly surprised that food was organic and naturally flavoured! I will highly recommend this place. The only setback was the smell indoor, exhaust system is not good so one can smell the “smells of the kitchen”. Fortunately, they have outdoor seating. Hence, we can still enjoy our food!
Tucked at the end of the road, the cafe opens at 11am on Sunday. Its relatively quiet due to the obscure location but it's worth a visit here.
As we already had lunch, we ordered ice coffee and their signature fruit tea (hot). The ice milk coffee though not a signature dronk taste aromatic and flavorful. The signature fruit tea was a hit with the kids. It has servings of apples, kiwi, strawberry and orange in the drink itself. Its a warm yet refreshing drink. Definitely worth a try. Refer to my picture, it's a nice empty pot! As it's just too delicious a drink.
The place is very clean and the menu looks good with a good variety of food. Their pancakes seems to be a must try and this in our next bucket list.
The pancakes are really different from the normal type you get anywhere else as the type of flour is used differently here. If you expect it to get a normal type of pancake, then you will be disappointed.
As these pancakes are more of a healthier versions of what you get in Mcdonalds or other pancake cafes.
It is paired with white wine honey and fruit syrup. Which is a very unique pairing as is not your normal honey. You will need to pair it with the condiments or else you will think the pancakes are dry. Or else is best to get one of the speciality pancakes instead.
The American big breakfast is really filling and the mushrooms are seasoned well! Love it.
You can also get a pot of tea here which is refillable and the staff was kind enough to give 2 cups to me and my husband.
Hope more people dine in here and enjoy healthier pancakes!
Overpriced pancake from Japan, I suppose one good thing about this restaurant is that they serve freshly cooked pancakes. It was warm but the texture is quite dense. It is also pretty dry if eaten alone. It's plain without any toppings so you are recommended to eat it with ice cream/ flavoured cream and/or butter.
The most basic set is at SGD8.50 ++ for 3 pieces of Kyushu styled pancakes with sugar syrup and butter. The buttermilk pancake has a nicer aroma. The popular themed pancake dish like berries/ green tea is generally 16-18SGD which comes with flavoured cream and fresh fruits. But I find the portions poor for the price. The experience is very mediocre.
1 scoop of basic (not from Japan) ice cream is at SGD3 ++ chocolate, vanilla and green tea flavoured.
You make payment at the counter before they cook and serve it to you. They charge service and government taxes, so the bill can be hefty. They also don't serve tap.
Have come here twice and it's always empty, maybe only one other patron.
Berry smoothie so delicious! Refreshing, slightly sweet and simply yummy!
The pancakes are definitely healthy and pretty delicious but i wish there was more flavour. Maybe add more jam.. They use 7 grains in their pancake mix. The price is definitely more expensive then usual pancake places. Don't expect super soft pancakes though, as the pancakes served here aren't souffle pancakes hahaha. Exceptional staff 🌟
⭐ Worth a try 🥞🥞🥞
Heard of great reviews of the pancakes. Finally got a chance to try. Ordered the buttermilk pancakes. Was disappointed with the serving size. Taste wise, was average. Pancakes are not fluffy and soft as expected. Maybe it’s their flour mix. The white wine honey sauce is nice besides that, nothing special.
Dessert on a Friday night, the place was moderately busy. Our pancakes were a little tough - not sure if it was intended due to the various grains mix from Japan as the base. Hojicha powdered cream was delicious. French toast was quite …
$13.90 nett for lunch sets. Got the curry rice which comes with Snapple and ice cream (chocolate/vanilla/matcha). Seems like can get the same kind of curry rice at the food court upstairs. Ice cream is milky and nice though.
